【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiesquantitativemethodsfordeterminingtheTONandTFNofwatersandalsoaqualitativemethodfordetermininganyabnormalodourand/orflavour.ItisessentialthatthesafetyremarksinClause5aretakenintoaccount.Twoquantitativemethodsaredescribed:-ashortmethodapplicablewheneitherasamplehasnoodourandflavourorwhentheodourandflavouraretobecomparedwithaspecifiedthresholdnumber;-afullmethodapplicablewhenthethresholdnumberforthesampleistobedetermined.Forbothquantitativemethods,twodifferentmethodologiesaredescribed:-unforcedchoiceinthestandard;-forcedchoiceinAnnexB.Bothmethodsareapplicableforquantifyingtheodourandflavourofdrinkingwaterand/ormigrationwatersfrommaterialsincontactwithwaters.NOTEThechoiceofthequantitativeorqualitativemethodisdependingonthenationalregulations,andonthetypeofwatertobeassessed(rawwater,distributionwater,migrationwater….)
